Al Sharpton just got an earful from angry activists when he stepped foot in Baltimore last Sunday to preach “Jesus and liberation.”
A group of men surrounded him and peppered the preacher with questions regarding the legitimacy of his activism in the black community. The clip was posted on a Facebook Live video feed by Duane G. Davis.
One activist repeatedly asked Sharpton what he was doing to help young black men. Then began scolding Sharpton saying that his past activism wasn’t good enough.
Sharpton was then asked about Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old black man killed by the police in 2015. Confused, Sharpton questioned them by asking what he did to Freddie Gray?
The man shot back that Sharpton did nothing and that’s what their problem was.
Sharpton attempted to enact his thug tactics, like some tough guy while remaining in the presence of his security detail, jabbing one of the men in the chest. But, their outraged reactions repelled him.
The group was furious that Sharpton was such a fake and had once been friendly with Donald Trump. They asked him about a photo that remained in circulation from a boxing match, which was promoted by a mutual friend and Trump supporter, Don King.
When pressed about his involvement in the Freddie Gray case, Sharpton simply answered: “What’re you talking ’bout? I didn’t deal with that.”
“Exactly, that’s the problem, Al,” screamed one of the men. “I’m done with you. I don’t have no respect for you anymore.”
It appears that good ol’Al doesn’t like to admit his wrong doings to the black community. This scumbag is a phony who is not liked on either side of the fence. I guess one could say that Al Sharpton is in no man’s land, politically and publicly. Go home Al no one likes you.
