A couple was caught on camera having sex on a beach (video below).
In the clip, the two beachgoers can be seen getting intimate on the sand in front of fellow patrons. The woman is seen lying on her back in the sand with a towel over her waist, and at one point lifts her legs as a man moves suspiciously underneath the towel.
“They are having sex in front of me,” the person filming captioned the clip when they posted it online.
While many readers were shocked by the couple’s shameless behavior, some admitted to doing similar acts in public places.
“You know I live on an island off the tip of Florida. you may not know it but the ocean beach and sun can become very seductive. ive done the same thing many times but we were a little more discreet,” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.
Most, however, criticized the couple for their actions.
“hey obviously have no respect for themselves or anyone else!! That is something that is sacred and private,” one reader commented.
“Beach-goers should have surrounded them and gawk, make comments, etc and generally make fun of them. This is totally disrespectful to other people. What if there were kids around?” another Daily Mail reader questioned.
“There’s a time and a place, this is NOT the time and the right place. Zero respect to all others who go to the beach,” another added.
In a similar incident, a man was arrested in connection to a 2004 homicide that occurred on a California beach.
Shaun Gallon was a person of interest in the 2004 murder of Lindsay Catchall and her fiance, Jason Allen, until early May when he was taken into custody for the killing of his brother. While being questioned about his brother’s death, Gallon gave new information about the 2004 double murder.
“He had information about the killings that no other person could have known, and we have located evidence that corroborates his statements,” Sonoma County Sheriff Steve Freitas told KCRA.
“Based on what detectives have been able to learn, we feel confident we have Jason and Lindsay’s killer in custody.”
Police said there was no connection between Gallon and his two victims.
“We have worked tirelessly on this case and never gave up,” Freitas said. “I think there is a joy for the community.”
Craig Lomax, the director of Rock-N-Water Christian Camp, where the couple worked together, spoke of their life together before their murder and what was on the horizon for them.
“They were engaged, about to be married about three weeks after their death,” he said. “They went off just for one last weekend together before they split up temporarily and they were going to meet up for the wedding.”
