A Phoenix woman pleaded guilty after she left her baby on the roof of her car and drove away while reportedly under the influence of marijuana.
Catalina Clouser, 21, pleaded guilty to charges of child abuse and DUI after she left her baby in a car seat on top of her car after smoking marijuana at a friend’s home.
Clouser, who was 19 at the time, was at her friend’s house smoking marijuana after learning that her boyfriend had been arrested on DUI charges, according to AZ Central. When she left her friend’s home, she placed her baby boy, strapped in his car seat, on the roof of her car and drove away.
Clouser reportedly drove 12 miles home before realizing that her son was not in the car.
