It’s Officially Over. Say Goodbye To Sean Spicer.

Rumor has it that White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is walking the plank toward being fired.

United States President Donald Trump has his mind set on a major reshuffle of staff members, specifically the communications team, the New York Post reported. And after being “M.I.A.” last week during the breaking news regarding the firing of former FBI Director James Comey, it seems like Spicer might be the first to leave.

Spicer’s issues with President Donald Trump’s administration can be traced back to before his hiring, Forbes reported. Unlike other press secretaries, Spicer was not a part of Trump’s campaign team. So since he began his job under the new administration, he has been attempting the “learn as you go” method with the president. And reportedly, it hasn’t been going so well for him.

Starting May 29, officials stated, Spicer will no longer be heading daily on-camera briefings, which is basically the main focus of his current position in the administration.

That being said, a senior White House official stated that while Spicer will continue to be a part of the administration, Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will take lead at the podium during press hearings.

Spicer’s daily press hearings have received major scrutiny since his start in early 2017. Comedy show “Saturday Night Live” has dedicated an ongoing skit revolving around his graceless attempts to answer and field questions from journalists. The skit usually revolves around Spicer shouting at the reporters, harassing their character and all the while not actually answering a single question.

The most recent Spicer skit on “SNL” was on May 14, and showed “Spicer” being asked by reporters about his inevitable firing. “Spicer” then is seen riding his electric podium from Washington, D.C., to a golf course in New Jersey to speak with Trump about how he promises he will “talk better.”

Melissa McCarthy, dawning a bald cap and an oversized suit, plays Spicer in the skit.

Trump’s distaste for the press hearings had become public in February, a month after his inauguration, Politico reported.

In an interview with “Fox & Friends,” Trump gave his administration an A- for effort and a “C” or “C+” for communicating.

Spicer’s most cringe-worthy hearing came after news broke that Syrian Dictator Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons on his people, breaking human rights laws and killing many.

Spicer went on to say that al-Assad was committing crimes worse that genocide-leader Adolf Hitler. According to Spicer, even Hitler didn’t use chemical weapons on his own people.

Spicer later apologized for discrediting the reality that Hitler had killed millions in gas chambers during the Holocaust.
