During the third and final presidential debate, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton reportedly revealed the U.S.’ nuclear response time (video below).
During the debate, Clinton said that when the president gives the order on a nuclear weapon, it must be followed.
“There’s about four minutes between the order being given and the people responsible for launching nuclear weapons to do so,” she said.
The apparent admission shocked viewers, who blasted the former Secretary of State for seemingly giving away the secrets behind a nuclear launch.
“She can’t remember anything when testifying under oath but then spills out this national security detail in a debate. She is obviously being evasive in her answers under oath and being reckless with national security again and again,” one viewer commented on Drudge Report’s Facebook page.
“She and her husband have done so much to threaten the security of this nation that it crosses way over the lines of indifference and ignorance to willfully traitorous putting their own agendas of power and greed over our safety and sovereignty. And someone would vote for this person why????” another added.
The moment passed without notice, though some viewers said they caught it live and wondered why she gave away such a classified piece of information.
“I caught that too. Didn’t think it was a big deal or she wouldn’t have stated it. Should have known, considering her past disregard or classified information, it was a huge blunder,” one viewer wrote on Conservative Outfitters.
