George Michael’s BF Reveals Something Odd About Night Of His Death

There are still lingering questions over 53-year-old George Michael’s death on Christmas Day at his Oxfordshire mansion. Fans all over the world have been expressing their grief over the star’s early departing.

The reclusive singer, who suffered on and off from depression and an addiction to drugs, reportedly died from heart failure.

However, the first autopsy results were “inconclusive” and additional tests have been ordered, which will not be known for six to eight weeks.

On Jan. 2, his Australian-born celebrity hairdresser and photographer boyfriend Fadi Fawaz, 40, claimed his Twitter account had been hacked and that the hacker had posted tweets saying the singer was suicidal, the Daily Mail reports. He has since deleted the social media account.

Fawaz confused many when he informed a newspaper that he’d slept in his car the night of Michael’s death. He was spending the weekend in Michael’s residential town of Goring-on-Thames.

“I fell asleep in my car and I never saw him that night,” he said.

He was the person who found Michael dead in bed on Christmas morning when he went to wake him for lunch.

On Boxing Day, a tweet from his Twitter account read: “It’s a Xmas I will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning… I will never stop missing you.”

Another tweet read: “We loved each other very much and were together almost 24 hours a day.”

He later informed a newspaper: “Everything had been very complicated recently but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I.”

Thames Valley Police dubbed the singer’s unexpected death “unexplained” but not suspicious.

Fawaz explained to a newspaper: “The police know everything. That’s the most important thing.”

The celebrity hairdresser, who claimed to be with the singer almost every moment of every day and night, has yet to answer to the public whether he was planning to stay with Michael at his mansion throughout Christmas and where his car was parked when he slept in it.

Fawaz started dating Michael in 2009, not long after the star ended a 13-year relationship with his then American partner Kenny Goss, whom he contemplated marrying.

In a possible allusion to Goss, one of Fawaz’s “hacked” tweets reads: “Not sure who that nasty close friend of George was but I was in a relationship with George Michael till I found him dead in bed.”

In a 2004 interview, Michael thanked Goss, an art dealer from Texas, for keeping him together after his mother passed away in 1997 from cancer.

He said: “I couldn’t write and felt really worthless. I don’t think I could have taken it really. I think I might have been one of those cowards who choose a nasty way out.”

In his last few months, sources close to the celebrity stated he was low-spirited and in fear his voice had been spoiled by a near-fatal attack of pneumonia in 2011. His plans for a 2017 comeback were rocky.

He was a perfectionist who had “totally lost his confidence,” said the same sources. Observers believe there may be truth to the fact that he wanted to die.

Michael left an estate worth an estimated $129 million, which include properties in London, Oxfordshire, Los Angeles and Sydney. It is believed most of his fortune will go to his two older sisters: Melanie, 55, and Yioda, 57.

Goss may inherit a significant portion of the singer’s estate, as Michael may not have updated the will he made when they were together.

According to The Sun, a source said: “George made a will when he was together with Kenny and — as far as anyone knows — he has not changed it. Kenny lived with him full-time so will be in line for the biggest share of money.”
