Famous Celeb Spotted In Crowd Of Anti-Trump Protesters

Thousands took to the streets in protest to the election of Donald Trump as the next president of the U.S., and among the protestors were a few familiar faces.

In cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston and Washington, D.C., protestors marched and shouted “Not My President.”

In New York, several celebrities joined the protest, including Madonna, Cher, Mark Ruffalo and Questlove, according to USA Today.

Madonna shared a video showing crowds of protestors shouting “Not my President!” to her Instagram account. She wrote, “Need to turn these words into action… So now what?” and called for a “revolution of love,” using emojis.

Cher was also spotted in the streets, joining the protest. One protestor wrote on Facebook, “Cher just told me we have to fight. I trust in Cher,” reports the Daily Mail.

Photos of the singer and actress marching with protestors surfaced online.

Cher wrote about joining the march and hugging protestors on her Twitter page.

“Walked out hotel & in2, NEW YORKERS!” Cher wrote in a tweet. “THEY WERE LOUD & PROUD! THAT AMERICANS HAVE RIGHT 2YELL HOW THEY FEEL! Hugged many… THEY HAVE SPIRIT.”

The Roots’ drummer, Questlove, also joined the protest. He posted a video on his Instagram account of the protest and wrote, “Taking It To The Streets. Trump March Protests In Manhattan.”

Actor Mark Ruffalo joined the protest as well, marching in the streets and speaking out on social media about “the hate Trump elicits from his followers.” He shared video on his Instagram account from the middle of a crowd of protestors in the streets of New York City.
