Americans Make Shocking Discovery About trump’s New White House Website

As soon as President Donald Trump took his oath of office, the official White House website changed drastically. Gone were the “issues” pages on LGBT rights, civil rights, climate change, and health care that were up during former President Barack Obama’s administration. In their stead are pages dedicated to Trump’s plans regarding energy, strengthening the military, supporting police officers and renegotiating trade deals.

Obama’s “issues” pages were swiftly deleted, their URLs returning page errors, reports The Daily Beast.

The civil rights page was replaced with one called “Standing Up For Our Law Enforcement Community,” which does not discuss civil rights but does say that in Washington, D.C., crime rates have gone up by 50 percent and that the country needs more police officers on the streets to stop it.

“Our job is not to make life more comfortable for the rioter, the looter, or the violent disrupter,” the page reads. “Our job is to make life more comfortable for parents who want their kids to be able to walk the streets safely. Or the senior citizen waiting for a bus. Or the young child walking home from school.”

It also vows to expand gun rights “at every level of our judicial system.”

Another new topic called “An America First Energy Plan” replaced the one dedicated to climate change. The new page does not mention global warming but vows to revamp “clean coal technology,” protect air and water quality and reduce regulations to boost the economy.

“For too long, we’ve been held back by burdensome regulations on our energy industry,” the page reads. “President Trump is committed to eliminating harmful and unnecessary policies such as the Climate Action Plan and the Waters of the U.S. rule. Lifting these restrictions will greatly help American workers, increasing wages by more than $30 billion over the next 7 years.”

The site does not have a page dedicated to Trump’s signature immigration policy, although the “Standing Up For Our Law Enforcement Community” page does touch on his vows to deport undocumented immigrants convicted of violent crimes, among other issues.

“President Trump is committed to building a border wall to stop illegal immigration, to stop the gangs and the violence, and to stop the drugs from pouring into our communities,” the page says. “He is dedicated to enforcing our border laws, ending sanctuary cities, and stemming the tide of lawlessness associated with illegal immigration.”
