The roommate claims that Hubbard had been abusing the animal for over three years, but did not alert authorities because she “did not want to get Hubbard in trouble.” She claims she eventually broke down and told authorities because she “fears for the safety of the dog.”

The last straw came when the roommate alleges that Hubbard took Baby Girl into his room and locked the door. She then claims that she heard the sounds of a bed shaking and Hubbard’s grunting.

The roommate alerted the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, and they arrested Hubbard and jailed him on $15,000 bond. Authorities performed a rape kit on the animal and found evidence of sexual penetration consistent with the roommate’s story.

Hubbard has been charged with engaging in sexual conduct with an animal.

According to the roommate, Hubbard’s father even knew about the alleged abuse, but did nothing about it in order to protect his son.

The roommate even claims she once saw the dog licking Hubbard’s genitals when she passed by his room one time. When she confronted him about it, Hubbard yelled at her and called her crazy.

This is not the first instance of sexual abuse of a dog in Florida. In September, a family’s security camera caught their neighbor raping their 4-year-old black Labrador Retriever, Molly, according to the Boston Leader. Molly had been acting strangely for some time, prompting the family to install a camera to monitor her actions when they were away.

As for Baby Girl, she has been checked into a local veterinary clinic where she remains.
